Food Service Directors
The Food Service Director plans, directs and coordinates the activities associated with running a single site, stand-alone food service operation in a facility. This position oversees the operational and financial responsibilities for the kitchen and supervises other kitchen team members who are involved with the preparation, serving and clean-up of food in a secure correctional facility. Vocational Training
Trinity’s WORK. FEED. SUCCEED. vocational training helps reduce recidivism by preparing inmates for a career in the food service industry upon their release. Through comprehensive classroom and hands-on instruction, they learn to work in a commercial kitchen, feed their peers and succeed in a professional food service environment. The program is fully customized to cover all elements of food safety and retail food operations, including sanitation, kitchen safety, food safety, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point(HACCP) and cooking skills. Instructions can also provide ServSafe education and certification.
